We move our pasture raised chickens every single day to fresh pasture.

Locally, milled conventional, non medicated feed. 

All animals are rotated on pasture. The rotations vary depending on species, pasture conditions and season. 

Most cattle are raised on grass but finished on grain to fatten them up before harvest. At Mahaffey Farms we feed and finish our cattle on grass. 

Animals are raised and rotated on our pasture. If there is one thing we could change about the production of meat, it would be to get animals out of feedlots and onto pasture. This is not only better for the animal's welfare, it also contributes to a healthier environment and nutrient dense food! 

All meat products are frozen and packaged individually to ensure freshness! You can store in your freezer for up to a year.
